Celebrating Indonesia Independence Day at Disney's Animal Kingdom
Isn't it amazing how passion and dream can lead a person to experience different things ? My passion for travel helps me to find myself and discover other talents, something that I never thought I'd be interested or can be really good at. Curiosity, commitment, hard work and persistence are the key.
Working at Disney World as International Culture Representative gave me and Kathalizsa not only a lot of benefits and experience how it feels like to work in the show business and entertainment industry but also a chance to perform the Balinese ethnic dance for Indonesia independence day. It was such a big honor for us to represent our country and promote the beauty Indonesia has to offer through nature, rich culture, food and many more. I remember I was only 6 years old when my Mum took me to this Balinese dance classes, I fell in love with the culture, Bali, the costumes, the music...everything!! The best part is always performing in front of foreigners, tourists. Again, I never thought I'd have a chance to dance, represent my country, share Indonesian culture in Disney, but I guess that's the power of mind, positive attitude, law of attractions makes any dreams come true. Find out how to get a job with Disney by visiting my recent post about Disneyland Anaheim
